My Ufologist Friend

UFO*BC Mourns Loss of Graham Conway.

UFO*BC and Graham's Family regret to inform our readers that Graham fell seriously ill on February 3rd/07 and was taken to hospital. He passed away in the afternoon of February 7th/07. The news was unexpected as Graham had been healthy and very active. Ten years ago Graham was an integral part of the genesis of what this organization has become today, his contributions are immeasurable. He has dedicated 60 years in investigating UFO phenomenon and other mysteries.
In 1994 I saw a UFO and went into a sort of 'shock' mode, not expecting to see something we are constantly told does not exist. Mr. Conway came to our house, spent many hours discussing our ordeal, which made me feel extremely better about the experience. Over the years I could call upon Mr. Conway for other paranormal events and he would always come to the rescue.
We appeared together on a television show "Encounters" as well, we did a radio spot together with Jeff Rense and an untelevised paranormal 'pilot' which focused on 'falling ice' from the sky.
I last saw Mr. Conway at the the "Newton Days Fair" a little community get-together of small shop owners, get to see the inards of firetrucks, little stands of opportunity to sell, sell, sell.....and in the corner of my eye stood Mr.Conway and his little stand of UFO books and tapes and stickers, BELIEVE, and it pained me to walk up to his empty stand, wondering why no one else would approach him, when he had the most interesting conversation to convey.
He stood tall and proud, never ashamed of his duty to discuss such bizarre events and vehicles such as UFOs, as others hid and pretended 'it never happened'.....he investigated and investigated over and over, every last detail of the paranormal event, despite the majority of disbelievers.
He will always be Mr. Conway to me....as I lived on the same street he did for a few years, as a kid, and we kids respected our elders by calling them Mr. Conway, or Mrs. Hunt, or Mr. Allen.....and I could never bring myself to speak his name, Graham......it seemed TOO disrespectful, so I leave this post, happy in my heart knowing that a UFO was seen eventually, by
Mr. Conway.

Christmas 2007

Sabrina, my daughter.

Nephew Dustin and the little guy is my son, Brandon. We have two computers, one downstairs and the one here, which is always in the way, taking up counter space.

Hubby carving the turkey. We don't do this at the table because there's not enough room. We serve Christmas Dinner at my house "buffet style".

Hmmmmm.....this is one of the 'cook from frozen' kind and is pre-stuffed. Tastes excellent and really juicy.

Because everyone in my family are mashed potatoes people, I usually peel and cut up 20 lbs...takes about 1 hour.

The tree from upstairs landing.

Hubby, my dad and Brandon.

Ginger bread Train, which never looks like the packaging.
